Kathie Thompson Wall Art

Kathie Thompson’s work made its way to the Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art and was selected into the distinguished Salon International juried show in San Antonio Texas. Currently, she’s with 3 Pears Gallery in Pawlet. National, regional and international collectors of contemporary fine art have extensively acquired her art. An intimate soft style and distinctive passive palette expresses the calmness of the misty, atmospheres in her work. Further to that, her art provides interpretations of the authentic locations of the early morning mist by the lush streams and ponds near her hometown of Arlington. Small paintings have become her strong point, lending a style often described as impressionism tinged with realism, all created with the tradition of luminous and rich oils.

Over the past 20 years, her exhibitions have include several one person shows at the Southern Vermont Arts Center, as well as the 2009 (June) House & Garden Show in which she took part together with distinguished artists Mallory Lake and Christopher Pierce. Her training includes studies with Elizabeth Torak, Daniel Keys and other renowned still life artists, and also with landscape artists such as Dennis Sheehan and Audrey Romano, among others. She invites her clients not to hesitate to contact her about her work or about what she can produce for them. Her art is in many galleries and collections all over the world, and Kathise has received a number of commissions from many prestigious clients. Her works have been purchased by some of the wealthiest collectors in the world.
