Connie Begg Wall Art

Connie Begg holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Mills College in Oakland, CA. she’s a fine art photographer who specializes in alternative photographic processes. She maintains a darkroom and an art studio in the Bayview district of SF. Connie’s photographs are found in many private and public collections and have been exhibited internationally, nationally and locally. Some of the places she has exhibited at include PhotoPlace Gallery, Middlebury, Rayko Photo Center, San Francisco, Root Division, San Francisco, Northlight Gallery, Phoenix, Tilt Gallery, Phoenix, Flash Gallery, Lakewood, Galeria Tonantzin, San Juan Buatista, Academy of Art University, San Francisco, Center for Fine Art Photography, 688 Sutter Gallery, San Francisco, SF Photography Center, SF, Olive Hyde Gallery, Fremont, Sanchez Art Center, Pacifica, Northwest Cultural Council, Barrington, Mills College Art Museum, Oakland, to name but a few. Connie is also a curator and she’s the founder of Photo Alchemy.

The photographer has worked extremely hard until she received a grant of the California Arts Council. Connie is a member of FotoForum, the Society for Photographic Education and the Artspan Artist Advisory Council, where she served on the boards. She has taught at Academy of Art University, San Francisco, City College of San Francisco, Photo Department, Mills College, Oakland, Polaroid Transfer Workshop, San Francisco Photography Center, San Francisco Boys & Girls Club, Alternative Photo Workshops, San Francisco, Alternative Photo Processes, SF, SFSU, among others. She has received many awards and her art can be found in many publications and she’s a member of many professional photography societies.
