Peggy Thatch Sibley Wall Art

Peggy Thatch Sibley is an American artist who has been creating artwork for several years and covering a wide variety of subjects. She uses multimedia for her works, including oil, watercolor, acrylic, and once in a while using pastel. Her development to becoming a professional artist has been a journey that has consisted of learning new things every day. Peggy has attended several workshops by renowned artists, believing that there is always something new to learn in art. As a result she has mastered her art and developed her unique style that has endeared her to home owners and the product market where she licenses several works for the manufacture of items such as garden flags, greeting cards, rugs, floor mats, and several others.

Peggy's creative arts have won her several awards with many of her paintings collected by private collectors. Her paintings hang in Waverly House, Springfield, Missouri, which is a reputable regional fine art destination founded in 1987. Peggy's creative works have been licensed to a number of companies and galleries as open editions, selling in different parts of the world. There is no doubt that her art has opened several doors for her. She is now a member of Women Artists of the West, Missouri Watercolor Society, Ozark Brush & Palette, Bartlesville Art Association, and National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society. She also taught art and shared her principle with her students. Her mantra to her students was to properly view the subject matter and paint with emotions. Peggy always encouraged them to understand that learning never stops, and for her it’s still a learning process.
