Rebecca Bradley Wall Art

Born and raised in SE England, Rebecca Bradley attended Chelsea College of Art and Maidstone College of Art. Since 1992 she has been living and working in Ireland. She also studied at CIT Crawford College Art and Design (BA (Hons) Fine Art Painting), NCVA Art (Craft and Design), University College Cork (Higher Diploma, Co-operative Organization, Food Marketing and Rural Development, and at Kingston University, Surrey (BSC (Hons) Sociology). She’s had solo exhibitions at SternView Gallery, Cork, Parade, Margate, UK., Cronins Gallery, Crosshaven, Enniskillen Visual Arts Festival, Doswell Gallery, Rosscarberry, Batavia Gallery, Fermoy, among others. She has also had several group exhibitions. She uses such materials as foxed paper, faded postcards and other found materials. The results at first seem minimal, almost muted and spare, but also present a fascinating exploration into the transitions between2 and 3D spaces, using torn, frayed layers, recession and shallow relief.

Rebecca’s art have become some of the cherished treasures among art lovers. She insists on materiality in handling of paint and this is augmented by her integration of substances which are at times unexpected. Her art can be found in many collections around the world in some of the most prestigious walls and spaces. Her clients include Outside Magazine, Orion Books, Marcel Schurman Cards, Conde Nast, House and Garden, The Guardian Newspaper, Galison Cards, Washington Post, Emap Design, Chicago Magazine, Boston Globe, BBC, Chatelaine Quebec, and Americanway Magazine. Rebecca has become a source of inspiration to many upcoming artists and they look upon her as their role model.
