Diane Weaver was born in an artistic family. She comes from a long line of creative families. So, art is actually in her genes. From her mother and two sets of grandparents, Dianne has been surrounding by craft hours with her mother and with creative projects at home. An amazing stuff is that her grandmother is a professional Egg Decorator. Her father and mother still talk about how, as a 3rd grader, she won first place in a school poster art contest, where she beat the 4th, 5th, and even 6th graders. This is what actually brought her to the limelight and probably became her public start in the creative art world. Diane went on to study at the University of Maryland where she obtained a degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography.
The artist has worked as a designer in web and print media for more than 20 years. She loves her family, bags, church, good food, friends, sharpies, and scissors and feels she just can’t get enough of them. Diane also tries her hand in flower arranging, jewelry making, singing, crafts, photography, and painting, for that creative fix. Today, by day Diane is an analyst for the government but at night she does her artwork, letting the creative right side of her brain fly as a Paint Nite Artist. Her husband is supportive and super happy that she is doing or working on what she loves. Diane loves to be the life of the party and can be a bit crazy at times.
